Lindsey Watson
Lindsey Watson graduated in 1976 from the University at Albany, where he earned his B.A. degree in American Studies, with a concentration in Fine Arts studying photography. In 1984 he was awarded the M.S. degree from the University in Educational Communications.
Watson’s work is exhibited widely and has been presented in the Nikon National Photography Competition, the Albany Institute of History and Art, Art Center of the Capital Region, (Troy, NY), Center Gallery (Albany, NY), as well as at the University Art Museum. He was among the artists included in Capital Ideas, an exhibition sponsored by the New York State Commission for the Restoration of the Capitol.
Watson’s photographs are included in Albany, Capital City on the Hudson, by John J. McEneny and his work is represented in the permanent collections of the Rensselaer County Historical Society; New York State Association of Accounts; University Art Museum, University at Albany; and the Albany Institute of History and Art.
